These Terms of Use apply to Spiono, an iOS party game and imposter word game for local play with friends.
By downloading, accessing, or using Spiono, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. App License
Spiono is licensed, not sold. Your use of Spiono is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, unless a separate custom EULA is provided for the app. You can review Apple's Standard EULA at https://www.apple.com/legal/macapps/stdeula/.
2. Personal and Local Use
Spiono is provided for personal entertainment use. The app is designed for local gameplay on one device. You agree to use Spiono lawfully and not misuse, copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or attempt to disrupt the app or its related services.
3. Local Gameplay Content
Players are responsible for the names, words, categories, prompts, or other content they enter or use during gameplay. Do not enter unlawful, harmful, abusive, private, or confidential information into the app. Spiono is not responsible for content created, entered, spoken, or used by players during a game session.
4. Premium Features
Spiono offers optional Premium features through Apple in-app purchases. Available plans may include auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime option. Features, price, billing period, and any trial are shown in the app before purchase. The app does not display third-party ads, including for users without Premium; Premium is not required to remove advertising.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Prices, billing periods, trials, and renewal terms are displayed before purchase. Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. Auto-renewable subscriptions continue until canceled under the conditions shown by Apple. Manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings; deleting Spiono does not cancel a subscription. If you do not want a trial to renew, cancel it at least 24 hours before it ends. Apple’s local terms and mandatory consumer rights apply.
A Lifetime option, when offered, is a one-time purchase with no automatic renewal. It provides Premium access for as long as Spiono is available and supported, subject to applicable law. See Apple’s subscription-management guidance below.
6. RevenueCat
RevenueCat manages purchase validation, subscriptions, Premium entitlements, restoration, and purchase/paywall analytics. Apple processes App Store payments; RevenueCat does not process your payment card for these purchases. Details about data processing are in our Privacy Policy.
7. No Advertising in the App and Website Analytics
The current app does not display third-party ads or use app data for targeted advertising or cross-company advertising measurement. This does not mean that the app processes no data: RevenueCat still handles purchases and paywall interactions. The website separately uses GA4 for visits and Download clicks. Our Privacy Policy explains these services.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel an auto-renewable subscription through your Apple Account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period. App Store payments and refunds are handled by Apple. We cannot directly issue App Store refunds. To request a refund, use Apple's refund process at https://reportaproblem.apple.com/.
9. Restore Purchases
If supported in the app, you may restore purchases to reconnect App Store purchase records to the app. Restored access depends on Apple's records, RevenueCat subscription status, and the Apple Account used for the purchase.
10. Privacy
Your use of Spiono is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how local gameplay information, purchase information, RevenueCat, the absence of advertising and app tracking, website analytics, and support communications are handled.
11. Availability and Changes
We may update, change, remove, suspend, or discontinue parts of Spiono at any time. We try to keep Spiono available and working, but we do not guarantee that the app, Premium features, subscriptions, or third-party services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
12. Intellectual Property
Spiono, including its name, design, graphics, interface, text, gameplay concepts, and app content, belongs to the app owner or its licensors. You may not use Spiono branding, assets, or content without permission, except as allowed by law.
13. No Warranty
Spiono is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, and non-infringement.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or claims arising from your use of Spiono, local gameplay, subscriptions, third-party services, or inability to use the app.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Spiono after the updated Terms become available means you accept the updated Terms.
