Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Spiono handles information when you use the iOS app, including local gameplay information, Apple in-app purchases, weekly and yearly subscriptions, RevenueCat purchase management, Google AdMob ads, TikTok Business SDK advertising attribution, consent choices, and support communications.
By using Spiono, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Summary
Spiono is designed as a local party game. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use local gameplay content to create advertising profiles. Purchase and subscription information may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat so Premium access can work. The free version of Spiono may show ads through Google AdMob; Premium access may remove interstitial ads where available. Spiono may also use TikTok Business SDK to measure advertising campaigns and app events.
2. Local Gameplay Information
Spiono may let players enter or use player names, words, categories, prompts, settings, and other gameplay content. This information is used to run local game sessions on your device. We do not intentionally collect this local gameplay content on our servers.
Please do not enter sensitive, private, confidential, unlawful, or harmful information into the app. Players are responsible for the content they enter and use during gameplay.
3. Purchases and Subscriptions
If you buy or use Premium features, Apple handles App Store payment processing and billing through your Apple Account. We do not receive your payment card number or full Apple Account credentials.
Spiono offers Premium access through weekly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions. Spiono uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat may process purchase and subscription information such as App Store receipts, product identifiers, purchase dates, expiration dates, renewal status, entitlement status, restore status, store environment, currency or locale information, and an app user identifier. This is used for app functionality, receipt validation, fraud prevention, subscription status, Premium access, purchase restoration, and purchase-related analytics.
4. Anonymous App User IDs
Unless the app is later changed to include account login or other identifying features, Spiono is intended to use RevenueCat with anonymous app user IDs rather than your email address or name. This means purchase history is used to operate subscriptions and Premium access, but is not intended to be linked by us to your real-world identity.
5. Support Communications
If you contact us by email, we may collect your email address and the information you choose to include in your message. We use this information to respond to you, provide support, investigate issues, and keep records of the communication.
6. Diagnostics and Device Information
Apple may provide developers with limited diagnostics, crash, performance, or usage information depending on your device settings and Apple's systems. We may use this information to troubleshoot bugs, improve stability, and maintain the app. Spiono does not use this information for advertising tracking.
7. Ads, Consent, and Privacy Options
The free version of Spiono may show interstitial ads through Google AdMob. Google Mobile Ads and related Google services may process information such as device information, app information, ad interactions, approximate location derived from network information, advertising identifiers where available and permitted, diagnostics, and consent choices. This information may be used to provide ads, limit ad frequency, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal requirements.
Spiono uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage consent or privacy choices where required. If privacy options are required in your region, the app may provide a way to review or change those choices. You can also manage certain ad and tracking settings through iOS settings and Apple's App Tracking Transparency controls where applicable.
8. TikTok Business SDK and Marketing Attribution
Spiono may use TikTok Business SDK to measure the effectiveness of TikTok advertising campaigns, report app events, attribute installs or conversions, optimize advertising, and help prevent fraud or abuse. Where required by Apple or applicable law, Spiono requests permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before using tracking identifiers for this purpose.
The app may send TikTok Business SDK events such as app launch, paywall view, trial start, subscription or purchase completion, rating action, ad impression, and ad click. For the Premium paywall event, the app may include limited content metadata such as a Premium content identifier, subscription content type, and a generated event ID. Spiono does not intentionally send local gameplay words, player names, custom categories, support emails, phone numbers, or TikTok login information to TikTok Business SDK.
TikTok and its business products may process information such as app event data, timestamps, device and app information, IP address, user agent information, advertising identifiers where available and permitted, and diagnostics. TikTok may use this information for attribution, advertising measurement, conversion optimization, ad delivery or targeting, analytics, security, and fraud prevention according to TikTok's terms and privacy information.
9. Third-Party Services
Spiono relies on Apple for App Store distribution, in-app purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and subscription management. Apple's privacy information is available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
Spiono uses RevenueCat for purchase and subscription infrastructure. RevenueCat may process end user information on our behalf to provide those services. RevenueCat's privacy information is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/.
Spiono uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform for ads and consent management. Google's privacy information is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy, and Google's advertising information is available at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Spiono uses TikTok Business SDK for advertising attribution and measurement. 10. Data We Do Not Sell
We do not sell personal information. We do not use player names, local gameplay words, custom categories, purchase history, or support messages to create advertising profiles. We do not knowingly use RevenueCat purchase information to track users across apps or websites for advertising. We do not intentionally send local gameplay content to Google AdMob or TikTok Business SDK.
11. Data Retention
Local gameplay information remains on your device unless you delete it, reset the app, or remove the app. Purchase and subscription records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to provide purchases, subscriptions, restoration, fraud prevention, support, accounting, legal compliance, and service operation. Ad-related, attribution-related, event-related, and consent-related information may be retained by Google, TikTok, and their partners according to their policies and applicable law. Support emails may be retained as long as needed to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
12. International Processing
RevenueCat, Google, TikTok, Apple, and other service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. Privacy protections and government access rules may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
13. Your Choices and Rights
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings. You can request App Store refunds through Apple's refund process at https://reportaproblem.apple.com/. You can manage certain ad, attribution, and tracking choices through the app's privacy options where available, through iOS settings, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency controls, or through Google, TikTok, and Apple privacy controls. You can contact us to ask questions or request access, correction, or deletion of information we control. Some purchase, subscription, ad, attribution, event, consent, and support records may need to be retained by Apple, RevenueCat, Google, TikTok, or us for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, or operational reasons.
14. Children's Privacy
Spiono is intended for local group entertainment and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and respond.
15. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information we process. Apple, RevenueCat, Google, and TikTok provide infrastructure for payment, subscription, ad, attribution, and consent-related processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Spiono after the updated policy becomes available means you accept the updated policy.
